About us.
Tim Neely is the Chief Instructor of our dojo and is a 6th degree black belt. He began his karate journey 41 years ago under the tutelage of Dr. Richard Schmidt at the University of Nebraska, and Soke Tomosaburo Okano, founder of Kenkojuku Shotokan. Prior to Karate Tim was a 6 year consecutive Golden Gloves Boxer in the midwestern district in the USA.

Tim Neely Sensei has been teaching and training in the Shotokan Karate world for over 4 decades; 34 years in Japan. Prior to starting Karate Tim was a Golden gloves boxer for 6 consecutive years.
